Professor Ian Ellis

Professor Ellis has been involved in the practice of pathology for over thirty years and has an international reputation in clinical and translational research in breast disease.

Dr Elena Provenzano

Dr Elena Provenzano is Lead Breast Histopathologist for the Cambridge Breast Unit at Addenbrooke’s Hospital.

Professor Emad Rakha

Professor Rakha is Professor and Honorary Consultant Pathologist, University of Nottingham and Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.

Professor Abeer Shaaban

Professor Shaaban is a specialist breast pathologist at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham and Honorary Professor at the University of Birmingham.

Dr Rahul Deb

Dr Rahul Deb is a lead breast and gastrointestinal pathologist at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton. He is the Specialty Advisor (Breast) at RCPath, deputy chair of National Coordinating Committee for Breast Pathology and regional clinical advisor for NHS Breast Screening.

Dr Rebecca Millican-Slater

Dr Rebecca Millican-Slater, a specialist breast cancer pathologist at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust uses the latest digital pathology techniques in her work and research.

Dr Preethi Gopinath

Consultant Histopathologist at Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust, Harlow, Essex UK. Director of Medical Education

Dr Laura Collins

Dr. Laura Collins is Vice Chair of Oncologic Pathology, Chief of Breast Pathology, Breast Cancer Research Lead at the Meyer Cancer Center, and a Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine (pending appointment at rank).

Professor Louise Jones

Professor Louise Jones is the research lead for Molecular Pathology for Genomics England and lead for the Breast Cancer Campaign’s National Breast Tissue Bank. Her research focuses on how disease progresses.

Professor Shelley Potter

Shelley Potter is Professor of Surgical Oncology at Bristol Medical School and Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon at North Bristol NHS Trust. She attended Bristol Medical School and completed Basic Surgical Training in Bristol before undertaking a PhD exploring the feasibility of clinical trials in breast reconstruction.

Professor Charlotte Coles

Charlotte Coles is Professor of Breast Cancer Clinical Oncology: Deputy Head of Department of Oncology, University of Cambridge; and Co-Director of CRUK RadNet Cambridge. She leads practice-changing breast radiotherapy trials, has influenced international hypofractionation policy and addressed global health, gender, and equity challenges as Chair of the Lancet Breast Cancer Commission.

Dr Emilie Groen

Dr Emilie Groen is consultant pathologist at the Netherlands Cancer Institute – Antoni van Leeuwenhoek, where she has worked since 2013, after completing her pathology training at the Amsterdam UMC. Her main focus is on breast pathology, and cytology, besides dermatopathology and thyroid pathology, and she serves as education lead within the pathology department.

Dr Sue Pritchard

Consultant histopathologist working at Wythenshawe Hospital Manchester UK where she is the lead breast pathologist. Sue is also one of the breast screening Professional Clinical Advisors for the North of England and a member of the Manchester Breast Centre and lobular moonshot project team researching in the field of stromal interactions in breast cancer, breast cancer prevention and lobular breast cancer.

Dr Shauna Casey

Dr Shauna Casey works as a consultant histopathologist in the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust reporting breast pathology and uropathology.  She is currently the professional and clinical advisor for pathology in the breast screening programme in Northern Ireland.

Dr Areeg Abbas

Dr Areeg Abbas, Nottingham University Hospitals

Dr Yasmeen Mir

Dr Yasmeen Mir is a specialist breast pathologist at Liverpool University Hospitals Foundation Trust. She is a professional clinical advisor for breast pathology and a member of the national coordinating committee for breast pathology.
